Divorce...the Final Frontier?

When I went through the painful journey of divorce I was convinced that life as I knew it, for all intents and purposes, was over, caput, finito, the END. To be honest, it felt that way a TON throughout the process. But, contrary to my thoughts, feelings, and reservations, I made it out to the other side. Did it hurt like hell? Yes, without a doubt. Was I left with many, many battle scars, some of which I still wrestle with today? Again, a resounding yes is the answer.

The truth of the matter, though, is that when one life, one relationship ends, it can kick open the doors to learning, to growth, and ultimately to what true happiness, although it may be altered a bit, truly is. It can all push forward a necessary transformative journey, one you may have been avoiding, or one you had no clue that you needed until that very moment in time.

So, the short answer to is Divorce the "Final Frontier?" NO. For many, it can be just the beginning!
